The Governors' Annual Award for Excellence was presented by Mr Bourne, Chair of Governors, to one child in each class who excelled as a learner for the whole academic year.
An effective learner is a pupil who is always motivated, engaged and thinking. As a winner of this Award, these children have demonstrated these three skills to a consistently high standard. We are all very proud of their curiosity, can-do attitude and love for a challenge. Problem solving, spotting patterns, decision making and testing ideas out are part of their amazing set of learning skills. They love to get involved, to concentrate, to persist when things get hard and feel proud of how they go about their learning as well as what they produce. These children have had a truly brilliant year; congratulations to Thomas, John, Oliver, Harry, Skye, Thomas and Mirren on this achievement!
Congratulations to Class 6, Miss Bentley and Miss Latham on this year's exceptional SATs results!
In a year when there was much controversy about the exceptional level of challenge in the new-style end of primary tests, Muskham's Year 6 have once again excelled themselves, pulling out a tremendous set of scores.
