Children have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (Covid-19).
In order to support children, the government has announced a one off universal catch up premium for the 2020-2021 academic year.
This funding is being awarded to the school in the form of £80 per child on roll on the school census day in October 2020 and, although it has been calculated on a per pupil basis, schools are able to prioritise support for pupils according to need.
The total is expected to be in the region of £15,000.
