Dr Damion McCormick is an Assistant Professor of Biosciences at the University of Nottingham. During his academic career he has led the strategic development of several undergraduate programmes. To complement his research career he has a Masters Degree in Education and extensive experience in developing innovative approaches to learning and teaching.

Mrs Crossland is Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Officer. She has a Teaching degree from Leeds University with a specialism in English. Before coming to Muskham in 2014, she taught for 21 years across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 at a number of schools in Nottinghamshire. She worked for 18 years as a mathematics leader and is currently working as a Minster Leader of Education, sharing her expertise in mathematics and her knowledge of teaching and learning with the wider professional community. Mrs Crossland firmly believes that "all children deserve the very best education and all children can succeed."

Molly Chesney is managing director of a marketing consultancy. Having previously worked for a business regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Molly has experience with data protection regulations, and is the link governor for GDPR. She has also been a parent of a pupil at the since the school since September 2014. Molly has worked with the head on a number of initiatives including securing some positive local media coverage of the opening of sensory garden.

Nicola Lawson is a Reading Recovery Teacher Leader working within the Education Improvement Service of Nottinghamshire County Council. Nicola develops and delivers professional development courses for teachers and schools, and provides one-to-one support for pupils who experience difficulties with early reading and writing. Nicola has a Masters Degree in Reading Recovery and Literacy Leadership. Nicola has been a co-opted governor for over a year and alongside other governors is responsible for monitoring assessment data and is the link governor for reading and writing.

Simon Keane is a General Manager for Greene king at the Lord Ted in Newark, that has an annual turnover of £1.5m per annum. He is responsible for the development of 30 staff at site and has seen 5 members of his team develop into management positions at other sites over the last couple of years. In addition 8 members of his team have completed the apprenticeship programme. Simon is also an ITM for the brand and is responsible for the training of all new General Managers. He is also on a future leaders programme as part of his development into a BDM position within the company.
Last year Simon won the GM of the year award in recognition of his delivery of all KPI's, P&L delivery, guest measures, team development, legal compliance and support to his colleagues. Simon has an excellent understanding of financial data, sales planning, compliance and leading a team. "

Sandra White was elected as a co-opted governor in 2020
My name is Sandra White and I am 51 years of age. I have lived in North Muskham since 1984. My daughter was a pupil at Muskham Primary School when I first became a Midday Supervisor at the school but she is now at Secondary School.
I have been a Midday Supervisor at Muskham Primary since 2012, I also cover extra shifts when the Senior Midday Supervisor is away and train new members of staff when appropriate.
I also work part time as a window cleaner, which I totally enjoy and have a steady flow of customers.
I play quite an active part in the Muskham Community, helping out at many of the events that are held here including festivals, Mother and Toddler groups, Sweet Stall to raise money for new play equipment in the playing field and occasionally helping out in the bar at events in the Community Centre. I also get involved in my hobby which is caravanning and often hold Rallies on Muskham Playing Fields. I have recently finished training to become a Guide Leader in the Community.
I enjoy working with children and am a good listener when they have any worries and keep a close eye out for any problems in the playground or if any child is upset or unwell.

Rosie Whittaker
Rosie Whittaker was elected as a parent governor in 2020 and is currently a stay-at-home parent with two children at the school. Rosie's last role was as a Senior Human Resources Manager in the government services sector and prior to this she worked for over 10 years in the quarrying industry in human resources, production efficiency project management, and also as a Quarry Manager.
