Instrumental Music

Instrumental music lessons are provided as an optional extra in school.  Parents and carers can choose to engage with the Music for Schools Foundation, a charity who teach small group lessons in woodwind and brass instruments in over 500 schools across England and Wales.  More information can be found on the link below. 

As another optional extra, pupils can also sign up to Rocksteady Music School band lessons . This involves lessons on either electric drums, keyboards, lead and base guitars or singing. Children are put into bands and each band practises together weekly.  At the end of a term, the bands perform to their parents. For more information, follow the link below.
