Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We have taken part in the 'Let's Count!' programme at school. This helped us to understand why it is important to complete the Census 2021. All the children learning from home were asked to carry out our mini census, designed by the Key Worker children in Yr5 and 6. We had a fantastic response and wanted to say thank you to everyone. All the data has been analysed by the children and turned into graphs.
On 'Let's Count!' Day, Foundation children counted the number of each colour of teddy. Yr1 and 2 counted the colours of cars they could see on the A1 in 5 minutes using a tally chart. They also turned their data into graphs.
What a fun way to learn about the census!
We all saw RED on the 19th of March! Everyone wore as much red as possible to raise money for Comic Relief and classes did individual Red Nose Day learning activities - it was a really fun day!
We raised a brilliant £179.35!
Thank you so much to all who donated
and for helping make the day a success.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the
'Guess the teacher' challenge on World Book Day.
Some photos were quite tricky but we had lots
of entries. 3 winners were picked out of a hat to
receive prizes. The winners were Joseph Graham,
Alex & Amelia Freshney-Dye and Nathan Fendley.
Well done to all our winners and to everyone
that took part!
