  • School Garden

    Mon 12 Jun 2017

Thank you so much to the parents and children who gave their time to help with the school sensory garden on Thursday evening.  After a quiet start, we had a great turn-out and were able to achieve much more than we anticipated.  Everyone brought along their spades, forks, shovels, drills and wheelbarrows and got stuck in.  As you can see, we have moved the hut, cleared away slabs and odd bits of wood, and dug over the whole patch.  We found some interesting surfaces and oddments underneath the top layers so Mr Ford's skip came in handy.

Our volunteer design team is now getting to grips with the next stage of planning.  We are looking forward to sharing the designs with you and enlisting some more help in phase 2.  Thanks again everyone - you were great!

  • Election

    Mon 12 Jun 2017
We held our own election in school last week with the result being very close, just like the real event! The candidates from Year 6 formed the Red, Blue and Yellow parties and campaigned in the run up by putting posters up around school. The Reds won by two votes followed by the Blues then the Yellows. The results were announced to the school in assembly on Friday.
