  • Anti-Bullying Week - 12th - 17th November 2018

    Thu 22 Nov 2018 K.tansley

This year, the theme for Anti-Bullying Week was 'Choose Respect'.  There was an assembly in school linked to this theme and the children participated in discussions during their 'Circle Time'.

The homework task was to create an anti-bullying poster and the ideas from each class were very creative and thought-provoking.  We will be displaying some of these posters around school to ensure that children continue to think about this important issue.  Please find some examples of the posters below.

  • Games of Remembrance: England v Germany

    Thu 08 Nov 2018
On Thursday 8th November, Class 5 and 6 went to Notts County football ground to watch England v Germany ladies play in a match of remembrance for the 100th anniversary of WW1. The children were able to play games and talk to current military personnel. They even had uniform they could try on! They watched a fantastic game of football - unfortunately, England lost 2-1 but both teams showed excellent skills and sportsmanship. What a brilliant opportunity for our children!
