Today has been a day for developing our perseverance and optimism, and we’ve really been put to the test!
We’ve made bridges out of cardboard which have had to pass stringent testing; other resources used had to be procured within a budget and through answering specific questions. We’ve built complex jigsaws and solved puzzles and problem which were particularly tricky. We’ve had to pick up small objects with tweezers; draw accurate portraits and design and make houses that were loaded with difficulties.
Key stage 2 also participated in Optimistic Drama, re-enacting scenes from a story and changing key moments through perseverance and optimism. We definitely have some budding dramatists and actors!
The children all love meeting Pudsey Bear and gave him lots of cuddles and high fives.
To support the Anti-Bullying Alliance, children wore ‘Odd Socks’ yesterday. It was a fun
opportunity for children to express themselves and celebrate individuality.
