Muskham School Choir

Welcome to Muskham School Choir members and visitors to our page.

The school choir is open to children in Key Stage 2 and is run by Mrs Booth, Mrs Davies and Mrs Goodwin. We are very lucky to have Mr Starr, our very talented pianist, which means we are able to tackle a wide variety of material. We don't audition for choir places and we try to take most of the children who want to join however, we do have to limit numbers sometimes.

Welcome back Choir. I hope you had a great Christmas and are ready for the year ahead.

Unfortunately, this half term is a little disrupted and we will only have sessions on 29th January and 5th February. However, below you'll see an idea of one song we might be learning surprise.

Apologies to those children on the waiting list for Choir. We are unable to fit any more members in at the moment but 'thank you' for your interest.

Too Good At Goodbyes

Christmas is always a busy time of year for Choir. We had 3 performances organised. The first was singing at the Christingle service at St Wilfrid's church, North Muskham. This was a popular day for other events but many thanks to the children who came to perform, well done.

Our next event was for Year 5 and 6 Choir members at 'Hair Design by Pina' in North Muskham. Pina hosts a Christmas opening for her customers and we entertained them with a selection of songs. It was a lovely event and the children were very grateful for the delicious cakes Pina made them as a 'thank you'.

Finally, the Choir children entertained everybody at the school Christmas Fair. Again, they did an amazing job and we were very proud of them.

All that is left to say is Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We will see you in 2018 and don't forget, we are moving to Monday evenings.

smiley What an amazing performance at Mansfield Museum, you were brilliant. You were the biggest Choir we had ever taken and you sang beautifully. We were extremely proud.

Thank you to all the parents who supported us there and offered to help with transport.smiley
