    This term, we are excited to introduce a weekly 'show and tell' session.  Each week, children will have the opportunity to share their favourite book with their class.  We look forward to hearing more about books children like to read at home.  

  • KS2 First Aid Training

    The children in KS2 thoroughly enjoyed their First Aid training by Leon’s Legacy. They learnt possibly life-saving skills and impressed the trainer Libby with their knowledge. Well done, KS2!

  • KS2 Book Club

    A group of our KS2 children joined the first book club of the term.  Each week, they will share a book and discuss their thoughts and ideas about the plot.    

  • Asda 'Cashpot for Schools'

    Parentkind, a charity that supports schools, have teamed up with Asda, who is making millions of pounds available to donate to primary schools across the UK through their ‘Cashpot for Schools’ initiative. To support our school, all you have to do is opt-in through the Asda Rewards app, choose our school, shop and scan in store or shop online at Asda.com.

    Between 2nd September and 30th November 2024, every time you shop with Asda using your Asda Rewards app, Asda will donate 0.5% of the value of your shop to your chosen Primary school. Also, every time somebody opts-in to support our Primary school, Asda will give an additional £1 to the school Cashpot. 

     

    It’s as easy as 1,2,3

    1. Download the Asda Rewards app, register and opt-in to Cashpot for Schools (make sure you have the latest version of the app installed)

    2. Choose our Primary School – either searching by name or postcode

    3. Shop instore across Asda and George, or online at Asda.com and start filling your Cashpot as you shop

     

  • Bikeability Cycle Training

  • Class 6 Leavers' Event

    This morning, Class 6 hosted their Leavers Assembly, followed by a coffee morning shared with their parents and carers. The children shared their fondest memories of primary school, before finishing with a song: 'I'll Always Remember You'.

     

    Well done to our Year 6's on all of their amazing achievements over the years; we wish you luck for your future endeavours. 

  • Class 6 Bowling Trip

    This afternoon, Class 6 visited Newark Superbowl for a few games of bowling (and some slushies!). We had a fantastic time; the children demonstrated their excellent bowling abilities, as well as their brilliant sportsmanship. This trip was funded entirely by the children's highly successful 'Enterprise Event'. 

  • ‘5 Reads’ Reward Picnic

    Over 80 children enjoyed the Reading Reward Picnic this afternoon. These children have completed the challenge and read 5 times a week all term.  Well done!

  • Year 5 & 6 Performance

    This week, Years 5 and 6 performed Snow White across two evenings. The children have worked extremely hard over the half term, practising and perfecting their performance. We are so proud of their hard work, dedication and talent! Well done, children!
