  • Platinum Jubilee 'Street Party'

    The school celebrated the Platinum Jubilee with a traditional ‘Street Party’ yesterday. We had bunting, flags, music and food galore! With true British grit we were not deterred by the wet weather and this was rewarded with glorious sunshine half way through our banquet. Thank you to all of the families that supported us by providing delicious fruit and nibbles. We really did have a super afternoon.

  • Year 4's river walk

    Year 4 went for a river walk along the Trent to identify some geographical features along the river including both plant and animal life. Then we sat on the riverbank and painted the scene before us in the style of Claude Monet. I was blown away by all of the paintings produced and so impressed with the concentration and technique used by all the children throughout the session.

     

  • Class 3 trip to Lincoln Mosque

    Class 3 enjoyed their trip to Lincoln Mosque. They explored the different rooms of the mosques and learnt about the importance of the different features. Class 3 enjoyed learning more about Islamic prayer and cleaning rituals. An excellent morning was had by all!

  • Bikeability 2022

    Biking fun!  This week got off to a flying start with Y6 pupils beginning their Bikeability course. They have learnt lots about bike safety and have enjoyed a road ride around the village and have already progressed to Level 2. 

    Group 2 can't wait to start on Wednesday.

  • Day For Ukraine

    Supporting Ukraine

    On Wednesday 16th of March, we came together as a school to support the people of Ukraine. We dressed in the colours of the Ukraine flag and brought in £1.  Your kind donations helped us to raise £198.35. 

    Also, over the past week, staff have also been donating money and raised £418.75.

  • World Book Day 2022

    The whole school participated in exciting World Book Day activities that focused on a class book. We finished the day by sharing our work with the rest of the school during Key Stage assemblies.

     

    This year, we all dressed up as words! It was fantastic to see some amazing vocabulary; many of us even learnt some new words!

  • Enablers Day

    The whole school engaged in our ‘Enablers day’ where each class focused on two particular enablers. The theme was ‘Saving Our Planet’. We had some ingenious ideas and feel very optimistic about our future.

  • Beauty and the Beast

    This week M&M Productions returned to Muskham Primary with another fantastic pantomime. They gave 2 performances of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ to ensure all classes could watch, and once again it proved to be a big hit with all the children (and staff). School were able to fund 55% of the overall cost with money raised from the Christmas Market.
