On Wednesday 21st June, Class 5 travelled to York for their two-night residential. On route, they visited Eden Camp to learn more about life in World War 2. On the second day, they learnt about the history of chocolate and York's crucial role in its production, whilst enjoying some delicious chocolate. Then, the children enjoyed learning more about The Vikings at the DIG and the Jorvik Museum. On the final day, they experienced York from a different perspective, on a river cruise, before a final stop at the National Railway Museum.
