World Book Day
Children dressed up as a character from their favourite book and enjoyed sharing the books they had brought in. During the day, in key stage 1 the children shared ‘Out of the blue’ by Robert Tregoning and considered the value of Individual Liberty within this text. In Key Stage 2 they explored ‘Here we are’ by Oliver Jeffers and discussed the valuable messages of belonging and respecting difference. In the afternoon, the younger children shared one of their favourite books with our older pupils. We all had a super day!
