Class 3's Canal and Rivers Trust day adventure
Class 3 loved their trip along the river Trent and to Cromwell Lock. Adrian from the Canal and Rivers Trust showed us all the parts of a river using his excellent sand model before we headed out along the river. We made beautiful wild flower chains and conducted experiments to determine the river’s width and speed. At the lock, we were able to go up the keeper’s tower and control the lock’s gates. It was a truly excellent day for all!
