Welcome to Pine Class!

Welcome to Pine, Year 4 & 5! We hope you have had a wonderful summer holiday and enjoyed the sunshine!  We are really looking forward to our topics this term; we have lots of exciting things to learn about! We are also excited to get to know each other and settle into our new classroom and routines.

This term, we are learning about 'The Vicious Vikings'.  Please find further information on our topic web below.

PE will be on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday - Y4 will be Swimming (please bring your swimming kit in a separate bag - see letter sent home regarding appropriate swimwear) and Y5 will be doing normal PE with Mrs Palmer. Thursday will be normal PE for ALL children with Miss Nairn. Please come to school in your PE kit on those days.  Earrings must be removed or covered.

Reading diaries and books should be in school every day.  Every Friday morning, these will be looked at by the class teacher.  A raffle ticket will be given for 5 reads recorded in diaries.  

Homework will be set on a Friday and due by the following Wednesday; this will include a Maths task and spellings.  Spellings will then be tested at some point during the following week.
