Today, we had the M&M Theatre Company in school to perform 'Robin Hood'. Children from all year groups enjoyed the performance - they found it highly amusing and entertaining!
"It was very upbeat. They made children laugh from all year groups and added in songs that everyone knew and could sing along to." (Ryley)
"Robin Hood was so funny - I couldn't stop laughing at it! The acting was amazing and they almost made it feel real, even for the older children. Another thing I loved was the costume changes because they were so quick." (Natalie)
"I thought the performance was very funny and got everyone involved. There were only 4 cast members but they played 2 parts each. The play included modern music that you could join in with. Even though it was funny, it still clearly told the story of Robin Hood." (Freya)
Class 6 were fortunate enough to receive some CPR training from the Newark First Aid team. They spent the afternoon learning about how to assess the casualty and how to perform CPR whilst waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
